Habitix — Frequently Asked Questions

Getting started

What is HabitFlow? HabitFlow is a simple habit-tracking app that helps you build and stick to daily, weekly, or custom-frequency habits — with streaks, reminders, and progress analytics.

How do I create my first habit? Tap the + button on the Home screen, give your habit a name, choose a frequency and (optionally) a reminder time, then save. It'll show up on your Home screen ready to check off.

Do I need an account? Yes — sign in with Google so your habits are tied to your account. This also protects your data if you switch devices.

Does HabitFlow work offline? Yes. Your habit data is stored on your device, so you can check off habits without an internet connection. Sign-in and purchase-related actions do require a connection.

Free plan vs. Pro

What's included in the free plan? Up to 3 active habits, streak tracking, and basic reminders.

What do I get with Pro? - Unlimited habits - Advanced analytics & insights - Custom reminder schedules - Export your data as CSV - No ads

How do I upgrade to Pro? Tap the Go Pro banner on the Home screen, or go to Profile → Upgrade to Pro. Purchases are processed securely through Google Play.

Is Pro a subscription or a one-time purchase? [Confirm and fill in based on your actual RevenueCat product setup — e.g., "Pro is a monthly subscription, billed through your Google Play account."]

How do I cancel my Pro subscription? Manage or cancel anytime through Google Play → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops future billing; you'll keep Pro access until the end of your current billing period.

Can I get a refund? Refunds are handled by Google Play according to their refund policy. We're happy to help — contact us using the details in the app if you run into billing issues.

What happens to my extra habits if I downgrade from Pro? Habits beyond the free limit (3) are kept but locked — you won't lose any data, you just won't be able to check off or edit locked habits until you're back on Pro or you remove some.

Habits, streaks & reminders

What counts as a "streak"? Consecutive days (or scheduled periods, for non-daily habits) where you marked the habit as completed on time.

What happens if I miss a day? Your streak resets for that habit, but your historical completion data is kept — nothing is deleted.

Can I edit or delete a habit? Yes — tap a habit, then use the edit or delete option. Deleting a habit also removes its history.

Why aren't my reminders showing up? Check that notifications are enabled for HabitFlow in your phone's system settings, and that battery-optimization settings aren't preventing background notifications (this varies by Android manufacturer).

Can I export my data? Yes, with Pro — go to Settings → Export Data to download a CSV of your habit history.

Account & data

Where is my data stored? Your habit data lives on your device. Your account info (from Google Sign-In) and subscription status are stored securely to keep things in sync. See our [Privacy Policy] for full details.

What happens to my data if I delete the app? On-device data is removed. If you reinstall and sign back in with the same Google account, your synced account/subscription info will still be there, but locally-stored habit history from before deletion won't be recovered unless you'd exported it.

How do I delete my account and data? Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account, or contact us directly — see our [Privacy Policy] for details on how to request deletion.

Does HabitFlow sell my data? No. See our [Privacy Policy] for exactly what's collected and why.

Ads

Why do I see ads? Ads (via Google AdMob) support the free plan. Upgrading to Pro removes all ads.

Troubleshooting

The app shows a blank screen after a purchase attempt. This is a known edge case we've fixed in recent versions — please make sure you're on the latest version from Google Play. If it still happens, contact support with your device model and Android version.

I was charged but didn't get Pro features. Try Profile → Restore Purchases. If that doesn't resolve it, contact us with your Google Play order ID.

Still stuck? Reach out at [support email] — we usually respond within [X] business days.
