Privacy Policy for HabitFlow
Effective date: 18th July 2026 Last updated: 18th July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how HabitFlow ("we," "us," "our," or "the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. HabitFlow is developed by ThinkMobileApps ("Developer"). By using HabitFlow, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
If you have questions, contact us at topten7919@gmail.com.
1. Information we collect
1.1 Information you provide directly
- Account information: When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account, via Firebase Authentication.
- Habit content: Habit names, frequencies, reminder times, and completion history that you create in the app.
1.2 Information collected automatically
- Purchase history: When you subscribe to or purchase Pro features, our payment processing partner (RevenueCat, working with Google Play Billing) records your purchase and subscription status. We do not see or store your payment card details — these are handled entirely by Google Play.
- Advertising identifiers & device information: If you're on the free plan, we display ads through Google AdMob, which may collect your advertising ID, device information, and approximate location to serve and measure ads.
- Diagnostic and usage data: Basic crash and performance data may be collected via Firebase to help us fix bugs and improve stability.
1.3 Information stored only on your device
Your habit data (names, check-ins, streaks, reminder schedules) is stored locally on your device using local storage (Hive). This data is not transmitted to our servers except where needed to keep your Pro/account status in sync.
2. How we use your information
We use the information described above to: - Create and manage your account - Sync your subscription/Pro status across devices - Provide, maintain, and improve the App - Process purchases and provide customer support - Show relevant ads to free-plan users (via AdMob) - Diagnose crashes and technical issues - Communicate with you about your account or support requests
We do not sell your personal information.
3. Third-party services
HabitFlow relies on the following third-party services, each of which processes data under its own privacy policy:
| Service | Purpose | Data involved | Their privacy policy |
|---|---|---|---|
| Firebase (Google) | Authentication, crash/analytics | Name, email, profile photo, device/crash data | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
| RevenueCat | Subscription/purchase management | Purchase history, anonymized user ID | https://www.revenuecat.com/privacy |
| Google Play Billing | Payment processing | Payment details (not accessible to us) | https://policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google AdMob | Ad serving (free plan only) | Advertising ID, device info, approximate location | https://policies.google.com/technologies/ads |
We encourage you to review these policies, since they govern how each provider independently handles your data.
4. Data retention
- Local habit data remains on your device until you delete the app or delete the data yourself.
- Account and subscription data is retained as long as your account is active. If you request account deletion (see Section 7), we delete or anonymize this data within [X days], except where we're required to retain it for legal, tax, or fraud-prevention purposes.
5. Data security
We use industry-standard measures (including those provided by Firebase and Google Play) to protect your information. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.
6. Children's privacy
HabitFlow is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at topten7919@gmail.com and we'll delete it.
7. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to: - Access the personal data we hold about you - Correct inaccurate data - Delete your account and associated data (Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by emailing us) - Export your data (available to Pro users via Settings → Export Data, or on request) - Object to or restrict certain processing, including ad personalization (via your device's ad settings) - Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent

8. Advertising and opt-out
You can limit ad personalization through your device settings: - Android: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization / Reset advertising ID.
Upgrading to Pro removes ads entirely.
9. International data transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own (including the United States, where our service providers operate). We rely on our providers' standard safeguards (e.g., Google's compliance frameworks) for these transfers.
10. Changes to this policy
